Rural BioReFarmeries and ManuREfinery — two Horizon Europe initiatives funded by the Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU) — are developing small-scale, decentralised biorefinery models that transform agricultural sidestreams into valuable bio-based products.
While Rural BioReFarmeries focuses on grass and green biomass, and ManuREfinery on livestock manure, both projects share a common vision: putting farmers at the centre of a circular bioeconomy that empowers rural communities and delivers positive environmental and socioeconomic impacts. How? By smartly using existing natural resources.
These two initiatives are now joining forces for a series of webinars to explore their common ground in defining the future of bio-based innovation.
Join us in this first webinar to discover what these projects are working towards, hear about potential market opportunities unlocked by agricultural waste valorisation, and connect with a growing community of researchers, farmers and industry innovators working at the forefront of Europe’s circular bioeconomy.
